Myrtle Beach police are investigating a shooting of a local bouncer.
An officer was called to Grand Strand Regional Hospital Tuesday morning.
The victim had a gun shot wound to his arm, according to the police report.
The 26-year-old bouncer at a bar at Broadway at the Beach said he and a woman left the bar between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m. Tuesday.
He was getting into the woman's car when a man approached them.
The victim said the man had a revolver in his hand and pointed it at his head, and demanded their belongings.
When the man with the gun looked over his shoulder, the victim tried to grab the gun.
The man pulled away and fired one shot, that hit the victim in the arm.
The victim said the man got into a white Chevrolet Impala with a North Carolina license plate, according to the report.
The woman in the car drove the victim to the hospital.
