Construction continues at the intersection of Highway 17 Bypass and Highway 707 in Myrtle Beach, and the area will be closed from 10 p.m. Tuesday until 6 a.m. Wednesday, according to a news release from Horry County.
Contractors will install an overhang bracket, tighten all remaining bolts on the northbound bridge and remove the wooden protective structure from the southbound bridge.
Drivers northbound on Highway 17 will not be able to turn left onto Highway 707. Drivers southbound on Highway 17 will not be allowed to turn left onto Farrow Parkway.
Drivers traveling on SC 707 and Farrow Parkway will not be allowed to travel through the intersection or make left turns onto Highway 17.
Signs will point drivers to alternate routes and detours.
