The Young Women's Auxiliary of Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church organized the annual "Back to School Block Party" at Mt. Olive AME Church.

Local organizations and vendors lined the parking lot for the main attraction, free backpacks and school supplies for kids.

The Myrtle Beach High school football team was also there to help.

This was the eighth year of the festival.
