      Aynor Conway Meat Market burns

We hope to learn the cause of the fire later Sunday.

About 3 a.m. Sunday, The Aynor/Conway Meat Market caught fire.

It was fully engulfed when our crews arrived at 3:15 a.m.

Batallion Capt. Thomas Loeper, with Horry County Fire Rescue, says they received assistance from Conway Fire Department in battling the flames.

The meat market is located on Highway 501 about two miles outside the Conway city limits.

No one was injured during the fire. Sunday morning, fire crews inspected the remains of the building.

Market owner Kenny Barnhill said he plans to rebuild his business and is meeting with officials to discuss his company's future.

He said he believes the fire started as an electrical fire inside.

Dozens of residents from the Conway/Aynor area stopped by the business Sunday morning to see the damage.

"It's sad," said Ryan Collins. "I come here probably two or three times a week...This place is a hub for us."
