Autopsy results for body found in submerged SUV

An autopsy was performed Thursday morning on a man found dead in a pond on a Grand Strand golf course.
Donald Raven, 47, died Wednesday morning . H is body was found inside his SUV, which was submerged in the pond at the Man-O-War golf course in the Carolina Forest area.
According to The Horry County Coroner's Office's preliminary autopsy results, Raven drowned. A deputy coroner tells NewsChannel 15 that they are still waiting on toxicology results and that the complete autopsy results may take around 90 days.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating how Raven's SUV ended up in the pond.
Highway Patrol, Horry County Police and Horry County Fire Rescue all responded to a Wednesday morning call about a vehicle submerged in a pond.
Once an Horry County dive team unit went into the water to examine the SUV, they found a body in the vehicle.
After Raven's body was discovered, the Horry County Crime Scene Unit began to investigate whether a crime was committed, that is standard procedure.
Once they determined no foul play was involved, the investigation was turned over to the highway patrol who is now investigating the incident as a traffic accident.
Troopers say it's still very early in their investigation into how the accident happened.
We're told that a security guard was on duty around the golf course until 4:00 a.m. B ut there were no reports a vehicle accident. It wasn't until a few hours later, once daylight broke, that someone spotted the SUV al most fully submerged in the pond, only the surface of the roof visible.
Raven was reportedly in contact with family members Tuesday night.
