Arrest warrants: DNA links Marlboro County man to killing of woman, kidnapping of girl
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) - We have obtained arrest warrants against Jejuancey Harrington, 32, in the murder of Ella Lowery, 36, and the kidnapping of her 8-year-old daughter Iyana Lowery at a home on May 5 on Craig Circle in Bennettsville.
Ella was stabbed multiple times with a sharp object, according to arrest warrants.
They say DNA recovered from a cigarette at the scene of the crime matches that of the DNA profile of Harrington.
It says DNA recovered in Harrington's car matches that of Iyana.
The warrant says during the kidnapping of Iyana, Harrington did display an instrument or tool used to inflict a cut, slash or wound.
The warrants go on to say phone records, witness and Facebook records prove there was a relationship between Harrington and Ella.
Electronic surveillance and DNA evidence led to Harrington's arrest, according to the warrants.
This case is being investigated by the Marlboro County Sheriff's Office, the State Law Enforcement Division and FBI.
Iyana has yet to be found.
