Arrest made in Lumberton shooting

An arrest has been made following a shooting in Lumberton, according to a press release.

Derion Hinson, 20, of Fairmont, North Carolina was arrested Monday in the Fairmont area by Lumberton police officers.

Hinson is charged in the shooting that happened early Saturday, June 29th, on Capuano Drive in Lumberton.

The victim sustained non life-threatening injuries.

Hinson is charged with four counts of Attempted First Degree Murder, one count of Discharging Weapon into Occupied Property, one count of Discharging Weapon into Moving Vehicle and two counts of Injury to Personal Property.

His bond was set at a 275-thousand dollar secure bond. Hinson is being held in the Robeson County Jail.
