The Myrtle Beach International Airport increased traffic 15% in April over the same period last year, according to a news release from airport spokesman Kirk Lovell.
In April 2014, 79,012 passengers arrived at MYR. That's an increase of 10,453 over April 2013.
Traffic in the first four months of 2014 is up 6.8% over the same period last year.
"The Myrtle Beach International Airport welcomed more passengers this April, than any April since 2007" said Pat Apone, director of airports. "In addition, year-to-date passenger levels at the airport are trending higher than any other period since 2008."
