92-year-old Marion woman dies of hypothermia during the storm

92, of Marion died Friday night of hypothermia, according to Marion County Coroner Jerry Richardson.

Richardson says relatives found Brown in her home on Spring Street.

Brown's death is the third related to the cold weather in our area.

Last Thursday, Ernestine Ammons died from injuries suffered in a house fire on Upland Avenue in Marion.

Ammons' husband was trying to heat the home when it caught fire. He suffered serious injuries.

John Griffith, 72, of Hartsville died as a result of hypothermia, according to officials.

He was found Wednesday night lying near a baseball field off of Leesburg Street in Hartsville.
