3 people removed from plane bound for Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I.- A Southwest Airlines flight from Orlando to Providence made an unscheduled stop in South Carolina.

WPRI-TV reports that flight 3815 made an emergency landing at Charleston International Airport Tuesday night after three passengers on board became disruptive.

The Charleston County Aviation Authority says the three were removed from the plane and taken into custody.

The plane, carrying 134 passengers and five crew members, was then allowed to continue on to Providence.

No injuries were reported.
