The Brunswick County Sheriff's Office seized 1,560 bags of heroin when they arrested four people in Supply, North Carolina after anonymous information and surveillance led to a traffic stop.
The sheriff's office Vice & Narcotics Task Force, along with the Wilmington Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), made the arrests.
Marcus Antonio Grissett, 53, and Elizabeth Julia Kleedorfer, 51, both of Supply, and Vandarn Stewart, 53, and Robert Joseph Decosimo, 49, both of Elmont, NY were taken into custody Friday morning.
Each is charged with one count of Conspiring to Traffic Opium/Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The traffic stop was on Hwy 211.
