Watchdogs warn of national security lapse at IRS

Government watchdogs have grave concerns over what they see as a significant lapse in national security at the IRS.
One concern cited is why the agency hired a man convicted of illegally accessing FBI databases.
Mohammad Weiss Rasool, a former police officer, served two years of probation starting in in 2008, for providing information to a close associate of a known terrorist.
Rasool, who now goes by the name Weiss Russell, is a financial management analyst.
The Washington Times, our investigative media partner, has learned that Rasool is but a few promotions shy of working around sensitive information contained in IRS audits.
