McCain wins South Carolina

South Carolina voters spoke this past weekend, and John McCain is their man after a narrow victory in the palmetto state.

Voters here giving the Arizona senator just enough of an edge to pick up a big win over Mike Huckabee.

In Charleston Saturday night, McCain thanked South Carolina voters for giving him the primary win after he lost here eight years ago.

McCain now heads for Florida, along with Huckabee, Mitt Romney and Rudy Giuliani.

That state's primary coming up on January 29.

And after a poor showing in South Carolina, California congressman Duncan Hunter is calling it quits.

Hunter has pulled out of the presidential race. He picked up a little more than 1,000 votes in Saturday TMs primary, and 900 in the Nevada caucus.
