Georgetown Mayor Jack Scoville appears to have secured the Democratic nomination in a primary for his seat.
Scoville received about 47 percent of the vote, Rudolph Bradley, 43 percent, and Marty Tennant about 10 percent.
Three at-large city council seats are also open. Brendon Moses Barber got 29 percent of the vote, Dorris Simmons, around 26, and Jeanette Ard got just 4 more votes than Henry Hobson Milton, both receiving around 22 percent.
Officials will canvass the ballots on Thursday morning at 10 a.m. to determine if a runoff is necessary.
