MB All-Stars headed to Little League State Tournament

Hayden Johnson recently belted three homers at an international tournament in Florida.

The Myrtle Beach 9-and-10 year old All-Stars will play in the Little League State Tournament beginning on Thursday in Taylors, South Carolina.

The Myrtle Beach All-Stars were a perfect 3-0 on the way to winning their district.

At a recent tournament, most of the players on the Myrtle Beach All-Stars were a part of a squad that won the The Salute to International Baseball championship winning six out of seven games at Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Florida.

Myrtle Beach slugger Hayden Johnson hit three home runs in the international series.

The Myrtle Beach All-Stars, led by head coach Tim Johnson, will play Greenville's Northwood All-Stars on the opening day of the Little League state tournament.
