Pickens County deputies arrested Brenda Gail Branham, of Pickens, on July 13 for multiple burglaries in Pickens County.
During their investigation, detectives found Branham and Carolyn Jean Rodriguez, also of Pickens, committed burglaries in multiple counties across South Carolina.
Rodriguez was found inside a home in Horry County.
Deputies say the women stole a variety of items, including jewelry, money, televisions, and more than thirty firearms. Nearly half of the stolen firearms were handguns, deputies say.
Most of the weapons were taken from Pickens, Newberry, Saluda, Aiken and Marlboro counties. The stolen weapons have been recovered by the Pickens County Sheriff's Office.
Branham is being held at the Pickens County Detention Center.
Rodriguez is in J. Reuben Long Detention Center in Horry County. She faces additional charges in Pickens County and other jurisdictions around the state.
The investigation continues.
