Two arrests made in video gambling bust in Florence

Florence police say they confiscated 12 illegal video gaming machines from businesses in Florence.

Officers say they seized the machines from the Circle Fountain on Gregg Avenue, BP Station on West Evans Street and a Bill Pay Station on West Lucas Street.

Major Carlos Raines says Tim Waters and Alva Martin are charged in connection with the illegal machines.

Waters is charged with Operating a Gambling House, Possession of Gambling Devices and Simple Possession of Marijuana.

Martin faces a charge of Unlawful Possession, Operation of Slot Video Gambling Device.
