Police say they've solved a rash of burglaries that have plagued the Andrews community over the past 15 months, according to Andrews Police Chief Kaynnera Capers.

Capers said they've arrested Saul Davis, Ernest Scott and Anthony McCray on First Degree Burglary charges.

He says the men are accused of stealing lawn tools, saws, generators, fishing poles, drills and electronic equipment from homes in the community, primarily on Jones Avenue.

Capers said officers recovered some of the goods at a pawn shop in Moncks Corner.

This investigation is ongoing. Capers said additional charges could be filed against the three men, and more people could face charges in connection to the burglaries.
