Suspects wanted for Florence shooting captured in Baltimore

U.S. Marshals arrested Quan Rashad Mitchell, 30, and Frederick Larry III, 31, Friday in Baltimore, MD.

Mitchell and Larry were wanted in connection to a deadly shooting by the Florence Police Department.

Police say Mitchell and Larry, along with Dwayne Burr, went to the Speedy Mart at 207 W. Lucas St. in Florence on Sunday and assaulted Dawud Bull, 28, of Darlington.

Mitchell pulled a gun and shot Bull twice in the chest killing him, according to police who say Mitchell and Larry fled the scene.

Operation Intercept, the U.S. Marshals fugitive led task force in South Carolina, began working Wednesday with Florence Police Department to locate Mitchell and Larry, according to the U.S Marshals Service.

Investigators developed information that they had fled to the Baltimore, MD area.

U.S. Marshals set up surveillance and arrested Larry during a traffic stop and Mitchell was also taken into custody.

Mitchell and Larry were booked into Baltimore County Detention Center to await extradition proceedings back to South Carolina, according to the U.S. Marshals
