Suspects captured in pawn shop killing

U.S. Marshals arrested two suspects police say shot and killed an Atlantic Beach pawn shop owner.

27-year-old Jeffrey Ray Jennings and 29-year-old Brenna Renee Jennings were captured in Washington County, Tennessee Saturday afternoon.

Horry County police were called to Thee Pawn Shoppe, located at 2905 Highway 17 South in Atlantic Beach, at around one p.m. on July 25th for a report of an armed robbery and shooting.

One victim, Thomas Lane Holcombe, 37-years-old, was found dead from a gunshot wound.

Police say Jeffrey Jennings last lived in Greeneville, TN. His warrant is for murder. Brenna Jennings is also from Greeneville, TN. Her warrant is for accessory after the fact of a felony.

Police say Jeffrey Jennings was wanted on another murder charge in Greenville, SC, for shooting a high school football coach just two before they say he killed Holcomb.
