Ohio contractor, who'd been working in Myrtle Beach, arrested after 17 months on the run

A man who police say had been selling hot tubs in Myrtle Beach who was wanted in Ohio was arrested in Birmingham Alabama.

Glenn Goddard was arrested

after the Delaware County (Ohio) Sheriff's Office received a tip he was in Birmingham for a spa and hot tub show.

Goddard faces at least five felony fraud and theft charges in Delaware and Franklin counties

in Ohio


In one of those cases, he's accused of forging $10,000 worth of checks belonging to one of his customers.

On top of that, the state Attorney General's Office has a $100,000 judgment against him for jobs Goddard didn't start or finish.

According to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, Goddard was also selling hot tubs in Myrtle Beach.
