A North Carolina man charged with murdering a Little River man, has posted his $100,000 bond and is out of jail.
J. Reuben Long Detention Center confirms 57-year-old Thomas Edward Shipplett was released just before 7:00pm Thursday night. Shipplett is from Ash, North Carolina.
Police say he shot 56-year-old Dale McDuffy Hammond at Hammond's vacation home in Little River on June 30th.
Hammond's body was found by police on the pool deck of the home. He'd been shot several times.
