The Horry County Coroner's Office will hold a memorial service for the newborn baby known as Baby Boy Horry, on the one year anniversary of the day he was found.
The body of Baby Boy Horry was found on December 4th, 2008 in the woods off Meadowbrook Drive outside Conway.
The baby's body was found in a Bath and Body Works canvas tote bag similar to the one pictured with this story.
In the weeks following the discovery of the body, police had DNA testing done to try and determine the identity of the baby's mother. The tests did not lead to an ID. A substantial reward is still being offered for information that leads police to the mother, but the amount of the reward has not been released.
Two weeks after the baby's body was found, the coroner's office held a funeral at Hillcrest Cemetery in Conway. About 100 people attended.
The coroner's office will hold the memorial service this December 4th at 3:00pm at Hillcrest Cemetary on Highway 544 in Conway.
