      Horry County Police arrest 4 on burglary charges

      Horry County Police have arrested three men and one juvenile in connection with a series of burglaries at Don's Car Crushing on Highway 544 in the Conway area.

      Police say they responded to Don's at 8:45 Wednesday evening, in reference to a burglary in progress.

      When they got there, police say they found one of the suspects and took him into custody. They say their investigation led them to the three other suspects who were then arrested.

      Police say the four had been stealing radiators and other vehicle parts for some time and would then return the property to Don's Car Crushing and receive money for it.

      Cody Paul Wrathell, 18, is charged with Receiving Stolen Goods, Grand Larceny, Common Law Criminal Conspiracy, and Shoplifting over $5,000. John Carlos Villagrana, 18, is charged with Receiving Stolen Goods, Grand Larceny, Common Law Criminal Conspiracy, and Obtaining Goods by False Pretenses. Matthew Charles Allen Wrathell, 20, is charged with Grand Larceny, Common Law Criminal Conspiracy, and Obtaining Goods by False Pretenses. All three are out of jail on bond.

      The 16 year old, who is not being identified, is charged with Receiving Stolen Goods, Petty Larceny, Common Law Criminal Conspiracy, and Obtaining Goods by False Pretenses. The juvenile was released to a guardian.
