      FBI Task Force arrests five in Darlington County on federal drug charges

      The FBI's Pee Dee Violent Crimes Task Force, along with officers from the Darlington County Drug Enforcement Unit, and SLED arrested five people Tuesday on various federal charges.

      The arrests are a result of an investigation conducted over the past one to two years.

      Darnikius Trayvon Sutton is charged with Conspiracy to Posses With Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine and Possession With Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine.

      Ryheem Rishawn Jenkins is charge with Conspiracy to Posses With Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine, Possession With Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

      Darenzo Trevon Graham is charged with Conspiracy to Posses With Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine, Possession With Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine, and Use of a Firearm in a Crime of Violence/Drug Trafficking.

      Michaelus Antonie Jackson is charged with Conspiracy to Posses With Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine, Possession With Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Possession of Stolen Firearm

      Sandy Elazier Cannon is charged with Conspiracy to Posses With Intent to Distribute Powder Cocaine or Crack Cocaine, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Use of a Firearm in a Crime of Violence/Drug Trafficking, and Armed Robbery.

      "This is a great example of what we can accomplish when Law Enforcement works together. These individuals have been spreading their poison in our communities for too long. But this isn't the end, this is just another step in our continuing fight against the criminals in our County", said Sheriff Wayne Byrd in a press release.

      More arrests are expected.

      Officers from the FBI, State Law Enforcement Division, Darlington County Sheriff's Office, Florence County Sheriff's Office, Darlington Police Department, and Hartsville Police Department all played a part in the arrests.
