911 calls released from Bermuda Sands shooting

The phone calls to 911 following the shooting that killed three people Saturday night at the Bermuda Sands Motel have been released.

Three people were shot and killed at the motel and one other person was injured, according to Captain David Knipes with Myrtle Beach Police.

The victims were Jamie Williams, 28, of Ladson, Devonte Dantzler, 21, of Summerville, and Sandy Gaddis Barnwell, 22, of Summerville, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler.

Fowler said Williams and Dantzler were pronounced dead on scene, and Barnwell was pronounced dead at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.

Fowler says the three died from trauma to vital organs due to gunshot wounds.

The shooting at Bermuda Sands was one of five shootings in Myrtle Beach over the weekend where police found victims.

Knipes said no arrests have been made and that the investigation is ongoing.
