A nationally renowned dementia care expert is coming to the Grand Strand to talk to people about caring for dementia and Alzheimer's patients.
Teepa Snow will be conduct two seminars in Myrtle Beach on Friday, May 23, at Horry Georgetown Technical College's Grand Strand Campus Conference and Business Center in The Thomas C. Maeser Auditorium.
One seminar will be for professional health care providers, the other for families and caregivers. The seminar for families and caregivers is free and open to the public.
The sessions will deal with ways to communicate with people with dementia or Alzheimer's, and how to reduce conflict, and work better with loved ones.
