Robeson Community College gets $3.4 million from Department of Labor

From a press release: The U.S. Department of Labor is giving Robeson Community College in Lumberton a $3.4 million grant for the development and expansion of training programs.

The grant will promote high-skill training, development, and employment opportunities in fields such as advanced manufacturing, transportation, healthcare, and engineering.

"This is great news for Robeson Community College and our community," said Rep. Richard Hudson (NC-08). "Our community college plays a vital role in training workers to meet the needs of employers and this grant allows them to continue equipping students with the skills they need to get a good job."
