Students will soon pay more to attend Horry Georgetown Technical College.
Tuesday night, the HGTC board voted to increase tuition.
Starting in the fall, in-state tuition will increase $11 per credit hour. Out-of-state tuition will increase $18 per credit hour. That's a 7% increase across the board.
School officials say increase will bring the college in compliance with the recommendations of State Board for Technical and Comprehensive College Guidelines.
