On Monday, Horry County police arrested Quentin Johnson, 18, and Mitchell Durgin, 21, after officers responded to a robbery at the Dollar General on Dick Pond Road.
The victim told police while she was in the parking lot a man appeared from out of the woods, pointed a black handgun at her and told her to give him her purse.
The suspect tried to force the victim into her car by grabbing her by the head, but she struggled to get away from him, according to the police report.
Police noticed the victim's hair was ripped from her head and laying on the ground.
The suspect ran back into the woods when the victim yelled for help but did steal her iPhone, which had a tracking feature on it.
Police tracked the phone down to a home in the Rittenhouse area where Durgin attempted to walk out the back door with the iPhone while officers were speaking with a resident out front, according to the report.
Durgin told police he was given the phone by someone who wanted him to unlock it.
The victim stated Durgin was "definitely not the person who committed the crime", according to the report.
She was given back her phone.
A police investigation led to Johnson's arrest. Police believe he is the unknown robbery suspect who committed the crime.
Johnson is being charged with Armed Robbery while Armed or Allegedly Armed w/ Deadly Weapon.
Durgin is being charged with two counts of Armed Robbery, Strong Arm Robbery and Receiving Stolen Goods.
Both are being held at J. Reuben Long Detention Center with no bail set at this time.
