Horry County police arrested a Conway man after a woman woke up to the man sexually assaulting her while her husband laid in bed next to her, according to a police report.
Jason Hewitt, 32, is charged with Assault and Battery and Forcible Fondling.
The victim stated she was sleeping and awoke to Hewitt tickling her foot and fondling her, according to the report. She went on to tell police that she then shook her husband to wake him up, according to the report. Her husband then pushed Hewitt off of her, police say.
Hewitt then followed the woman into the living room where the husband confronted Hewitt again, according to the report. Police arrived to find Hewitt sleeping on the victims' couch and very intoxicated, according to the report.
