Myrtle Beach man robbed when walking home after getting flat tires

A Myrtle Beach man's luck went from bad to worse after he was robbed while walking home from experiencing a set of flat tires.

When officers met with the victim around 3 a.m. Tuesday, he told police that he had been at a friend's house in Forestbrook, left to go home and realized while he was driving that he had two flat tires, according to a police report.

The victim did not have a cell phone so he began walking home and when he got to Highway 15 and Harrelson Blvd., he was approached by two men who held him up at gun point, the report added.

They got away with his debit and credit card then ran off toward Harrelson Blvd.
