Horry County launched a new website redesign Tuesday morning at www.horrycounty.org.
The new site includes mobile and tablet content, improved navigation and better organization.
"All they have to do is use the search, and it will search the entire website. They can ask a question and it will bring back the relevant information," said Horry County Chief Information Officer Tim Oliver.
The site also shows what's trending in county searches.
"So we think the navigation on the new website will really enhance the users experience when they go to the website," said Oliver.
Oliver also says they're going to add GIS technology within the next six months that will pinpoint a person's location and taylor what content would best apply to them.
Horry County's technology staff worked nine months to get the site fully functional.
