Before 'after the masters'

The day before the annual Monday After the Masters, organizers were setting up and golfers were getting their last minute practices in.

Every year, Hootie & the Blowfish, which got it's start in South Carolina, hosts a golf tournament in Myrtle Beach called Monday after the Masters to coincide with the Masters Tournament in Augusta, Georgia.

This year, tournament director Paul Graham says they sold out the 6,000 tickets earlier this year compared to any of the 15 previous years. Graham says 31 teams of celebrities and pro golfers will hit the green Monday.

New this year, ESPN'S "Mike & Mike in the Morning" will broadcast live from 6 a.m. - 10 a.m. on April 11, the day of the tournament. Crews were out beginning at 7 a.m. Sunday to set up.

"We're preparing today just by roping and staking the golf course just to make sure. Safety for us is very important," Graham said.

Both events will take place at the Dye Club at Barefoot Resort & Golf. ESPN wants at least 250 people to attend the show, but more are welcome.

People who have purchased tickets to Monday After The Masters and wish to be part of the Mike & Mike show audience are asked to park their vehicles at the House of Blues located at Barefoot Landing. A shuttle service will begin transferring visitors to The Dye Club starting at 5:30 a.m. General parking is not allowed at The Dye Club.
