Free agent frenzy continues for Felton, Sessions

The free agent frenzy has both Raymond Felton and Ramon Sessions. With three point guards making headlines in the last 48 hours, Felton and Sessions continue to be courted. Here's a timetable of what has transpired and how it effects both Raymond and Ramon

Wednesday: Los Angeles Lakers complete sign and trade deal with Steve Nash. Sessions, who was seeking a long term contract with the Lakers, is no longer on LA's radar. With Nash leaving the Suns, Phoenix is rumored to be interested in Felton.


The Suns sign Goran Dragic to a 4 year, 34 million dollar deal and Felton is off the Phoenix radar.

The New York media talks about a possible Felton return to New York and the Knicks

The Knicks acquire free agent point guard Jason Kidd

The Knicks other point guard, Jeremy Lin, signs an offer sheet with the Houston Rockets

This leaves the Knicks with two options: match the Rockets 4 year, $28.8 million dollar offer sheet for Lin or sign Felton to join Jason Kidd as New York point guards.

With Dallas losing Jason Terry to the Celtics and Kidd to the Knicks are in the market for a point guard and ESPN Dallas is reporting that the 2010 world champs are pursuing Ramon Sessions to join Dallas.
