Felton began the 2010/11 season by signing a two year deal with the New York Knicks. With career best numbers, Felton became a key piece of the Knicks trade to acquire Carmelo Anthony. Felton played 25 games in Denver, but was coming off the bench as the Nuggets gave the starting point guard spot to Ty Lawson. Felton was vocal in expressing his desire to be a starter, and that will now happen as he takes over the starting spot for Portland. Blazers trade Andre Miller for Raymond Felton
